The Garena's Garena premier league (GPL) was established in the month of May. The GPL is a pro online gaming event that lasts for up to six months and has over 100 games. GPL's debut season will feature six teams made up of professional League of Legends players. They represent the best players of their countries. GPL games are recorded, and broadcast live on-line with commentary. The games are available for viewers to view on the GPL's official site. Garena Premier League, 2013 will include two teams made up of Taiwan and Vietnam. The total of eight teams has been increased to nine. AHQ, Saigon Fantastic Five, Bangkok Titans, Kuala Lumpur Hunters, Manila Eagles, Taipei Assassins, and Singapore Sentinels are the teams. Garena's eSports Stadium, a place that is dedicated to esports within the Neihu District Taipei, opened on the 14th of November, 2014. It was initially constructed in order to host the League of Legends Masters Series that is the most elite Taiwan, Hong Kong, as well as the Macau LoL league that was an offshoot of the GPL. The first month of January in 2015, Garena launched Iron Solari League, a women's League of Legends tournament in the Philippines. The event takes place in the second month of every month. The goal is to promote participation by under-represented groups and is open for all those who self-identify as female. Garena not only organizes tournaments but also other offline events as well as events which allow participants to connect. Garena organizes the Garena Festivals in Singapore, Malaysia and other nations.
