Awkwafina An American performer and actress, started by releasing a humorous rap track that dealt with issues of race and sexuality. Her fame grew into Hollywood following the release of several rap songs. Nora Lum began her musical career as a musician on the trumpet. Born in Forest Hills Queens, she was the child of Chinese immigrants as well as Korean immigrants. The classical, jazz, and hip-hop studies began when she was just a teenager.
