Robyn Rihanna Rihanna - a Barbadian Songwriter and Singer whose hit songs include Pon de Replay, SOS Umbrella, and Take a Bow. An extremely successful performer in her prime youth she has already sold over 140 million records and 41 million tracks worldwide becoming one of the best-selling artists of all time. Born in Barbados, she was able to love reggae and started singing as a child. Due to the chaos that surrounded her family as well as the disputes her parents were having, she began to pursue music. Soon she decided she would like to make a profession of an artist. They formed a group while still in high school and got an opportunity to take part in an audition for music producer Evan Rodgers who was highly amazed by her talent. In order to earn a living in the field of professional singing she was asked to move into New York. Rihanna rapidly became a household name following her first release. She was a favorite amongst the youth for her peppy, foot-tapping music. The result was Rihanna taking up directing. The young and gifted Rihanna is widely regarded as a teenager-idol, as well as a fashion icon. Rihanna makes good use of her fame and supports numerous charity causes.
